PIFFA Training Institute

In 2007, PTI became functional and the first 3 batches of PIFFA-FIATA Diploma Course were conducted on the premises of KPT Staff College. In view of difficulties experienced in securing required facilities from KPT and exorbitant rental demand, the urgent need was felt to have PIFFA’s own venue to conduct Diploma Course. A modest office space centrally located in Kashif Centre was secured and converted into the classroom with all amenities like air-conditioning, multimedia, individual desks for course participants, etc. to provide a comfortable environment. However, on 27th July 2009, in a befitting ceremony, the PIFFA TRAINING INSTITUTE was inaugurated by Mr. Babar Badat, the Founder Chairman PIFFA, Vice President FIATA and Member of FIATA’s Advisory Board on Vocational Training. The classes of the 4th batch commenced from July 27, 2009. Mr. Babar Badat and Mr. Khalid Mir ex-Convener Standing Committee on Training & Education briefly addressed the course participants. Mr. Babar Badat sharing his vast experiences gave a broad spectrum of opportunities available to the freight forwarding industry to tap by way of transit trade with Central Asia, Afghanistan, and China. His words of advice and experience were loudly applauded by the audience.
