ABOUT US Diabetic’s Institute Pakistan (DIP) is the leading organization for Diabetes Management, Treatment, Education and Counseling in Pakistan. Dr. Sadaqat Ali, Project Director of DIP, laid its foundation in June 1996. We have a prolific team of highly qualified and experienced Diabetologists, Diabetes Educators, Psychologists, Counselors and support staff. Today, DIP continues to provide world-class diabetes care and education that meet the needs of patients and their families. We publish educational materials on every aspect of diabetes care in Urdu and English. We continue to shape the community and help people live well with diabetes. The Institute was founded on the belief that the key to success of diabetes treatment is making the patient emotionally strong with diabetes education and life style change. Diabetic’s Institute Pakistan is a one-of-a-kind institution on the front lines of the world epidemic of diabetes. DIP staffs over 25 health care professionals involved in research and education, and who collaborate with each other within the Institute to ensure patients the best possible care. It is the country’s largest center, entirely dedicated to diabetes prevention, treatment, education and professional training. We have fully trained FCPS doctors who, not only, treat the disease but also work on enhancing the lifestyle of their clients. Dr. Imtiaz Hussan, our medical Director, is an internationally recognized professional in the field of diabetes mellitus. Other esteemed diabetes professionals are: Dr. Aftab Mian, Dr. Mansoor, Dr. Khawer Saeed and Dr. Arzinda Fatima. They specialize in blood glucose monitoring and prevention of complications. They focus on optimizing patient-centered care and the appropriate insulin therapy where necessary. There is a 24 hours helpline to give situational solutions.
