Subject to application, the following centers were approved for establishment: Pumped Storage Engineering Center of Zhejiang Province, East China Offshore Wind Power Provincial High-tech Enterprise Research and Development Center, Zhejiang Province Engineering Digital Technology Research Center, State Energy and Hydropower Engineering Technology Research Center -Pumped Storage Engineering Branch Center, ECIDI-BENTLEY China Engineering Design Software Research Center established in association with America famous software company BENTLEY SYSTEMS, INCORPORATED, Zhejiang Province (city) Academician Workstation and Postdoctoral Scientific Research Workstation, and University/Enterprise Joint Training Base. POWERCHINA HUADONG’s scientific and technological platform construction and the achievements obtained take the lead in the industry. POWERCHINA HUADONG focuses on using information technology to bring along the modernization of technology and management. At present, the first-class network system and the integrated computer application (OA)system in electric power industry have been built, and POWERCHINA HUADONG has set up its three application systems including computer and internet-based design management system, and the remote application platform as well. Since its establishment,POWERCHINA HUADONG has undertaken the planning, survey, design, consulting and other work for more than 100 large and medium-sized hydropower and water conservancy projects at home and abroad, in which more than 80 have been completed and put into operation or under construction with a total installed capacity of 50000MW; In the fields of the urban construction and environmental engineering, POWERCHINA HUADONG has designed a large number of large public buildings, high-rise buildings, garden residential districts and thousands of kilometers of road of different grades, dozens of various large bridges, hundreds of tunnels and dozens of metro stations and interval projects.
