About Christian community can not forget the golden days of UCH. It is past now, but still we are waiting for good news about UCH regarding his progress. Some time it was best hospital in town. But managment made it worst. Now it is growing again. Doctors are good. but more attention is required to bring it again at top level. These days, the UCH is almost non-functional except for one or two departments, due to lack of good doctors who can attract patients. Good doctors don't join UCH because of poor facilities. Donor agencies specially Methodist Church and Presbyterian Church in USA are no more interested in this hospital, because their missionaries were ill treated by the members of the UCH Employees' Union in 1976-77.
