The hospital originally started in 1991 by the name of Bone & Joint Hospital. It was a small unit comprised of 10 beds and catering only cold orthopaedic cases. Bone & Joint Hospital had earned a great name in the field of rehabilitation surgery throughout the country. It was the hospital where the first height increase care was done in the history of Pakistan orthopedic surgery. Thousand of operations have been carried out on disabled patients due to polio, C.P., Congenital Anomalies, Neglected Trauma and patients were rehabilitated and made able to walk and pass independent life. A Trauma centre is a new concept where a trauma victim is being treated by a team of highly qualified and skilled surgeons concerning the fields of general surgery, orthopaedic, Plastic, maxillofacial, neuro surgeon, anesthetist and intensevist.
