Not only KUST has succeeded in erecting buildings with imposing view, accommodating modern classrooms and laboratories equipped with state-of-the art technologies but has also established a vibrant academic environment driven by research and innovation. KUST has attracted and retained world class faculty dedicated to teaching and research. The first Vice Chancellor of the university was Prof. Dr. Sher Ali Khan Shinwari (Late). The university is ranked No. 22 in the General category of HEC rankings.
