TDCP-Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management (ITHM) has been producing skilled workforce for Tourism & Hospitality Industry since 1996 as the pioneer public sector hospitality institute of Punjab. In view of recent lock-down scenario where public movement has been restricted, the Tourism & Hospitality Sector has suffered a lot being a part of the Leisure Industry. TDCP-ITHM has taken initiative to launch “Distance Learning Program” through market driven online courses of the digital era. The courses will help to digitally promote the tourism product through virtual tours and marketing of tourist destinations through social media. The Online Training Program will also provide opportunity for males and females to learn and earn from home by mastering the art of Web Development, Graphic Designing and Social Media Marketing. After successful training, they will be able to earn a good living as a free lancer or promote their individual business. A special online course for leaders & teachers is also designed to guide them how to integrate Information Technology (IT) tools & sources to influence their respective audience effectively. The online courses are being started at a low fee cost with minimum travel hassle for the trainee. The Training Program will be conducted online by qualified and professional training faculty with interactive and responsive software technology requiring only internet connection at trainees end.
