Tahir Maternity Home was established in September 1980 under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Yusuf and Dr. Bilquis Yusuf. Now with the grace of Allah Tahir Maternity Home has changed into Tahir Medical Centre with the sincere, devoted and untired efforts of Dr. Muhammad Yusuf and Dr. Bilquis Yusuf. It has become a complete hospital, with the capacity of 55 beds for the time being. Priorities have been given for utmost care, treatment, comforts, peaceful environment to better look after the patients, with the modern equipment’s and latest scientific approach. In addition, professional doctors are doing their hard efforts with management and staff.
No doubt being professional and experts in their fields, the doctors, specialists, and staff are trying to help this hospital achieve a prominent and unique position

TAHIR MEDICAL CENTRE is a 35 bedded General Hospital located at the busy intersection of Dhraji Colony 419/A, Amir Khusro Road, CP. Berar Society Block 7-8 Karachi 5 mins. Drive from main Aga Khan University hospital
The hospital structure is ground plus three story, each floor having a covered area of 1000 square yard, thus totaling 21000 square feet. The Third floor has administration.And Human Resource Department, In Basement have an Accounts department and Corporate and other services.
This hospital is a modem structure architecturally designed specific for the needs of a hospital and the architect is renowned for his work in hospital designing.
The hospital is catered for all the major and minor specialties with both in-patient and out-patient service.
The management of the hospital is running strictly on Modem Management Lines. One of our Directors is qualified in Hospital Administration and Financial Management and has a wide experience in Hospital Management.
The main objective is to provide a much-needed caring environment so as to provide both preventive and curative services in all branches of medicine
