INTRODUCTION
Horizon Hospital located at 403,404 Block D-II, M.A. Johar Town Lahore is a modern and well equipped hospital offering a wide range of healthcare facilities.
The idea behind the establishment of this hospital is to provide patients with the best possible consultant delivered medical and surgical care in an ethical and fiscally responsible manner.
A brief introduction to our facilities is as follows.
OUTPATIENTS SERVICES
Our Outpatient clinics offer our patients comfortable air-conditioned waiting areas with colour schemes specifically designed to provide a healing environment. Consultant rooms are large and allow complete privacy during consultation and examination. We have procedure rooms where minor outpatients’ procedures can be carried out. Record keeping is electronic on an in-house developed Hospital Management System.
INPATIENTS SERVICES
Inpatient accommodation caters for all categories of patients. It includes shared, standard, deluxe and executive rooms. Our Manager Hospitality Services actively seeks feedback in order to ensure a comfortable experience for our patients during their stay. All rooms have a central supply of air and oxygen.
STATE OF ART OPERATION THEATRES
The Hospital has four major modular operating theatres each with ultraclean laminar airflow and Gerflor® antistatic flooring. One has been dedicated as an arthroplasty theatre for joint replacement surgery with Bioclad® antibacterial wall cladding. We are possibly the only private hospital with a peripheral “dirty corridor” construction allowing complete sanctity for our sterilized zone within the Operating Theatres. In addition, the hand washing facilities in OR include sensor operated scrub sinks supplied by a distinct water supply completely separate from the rest of the hospital through a standalone bacterial filtration system.
Regular bacterial testing of air and surfaces is carried out as per International standards to ensure the best possible clean environment for our surgical patients.
CENTRAL STERILIZATION SERVICES (CSSD)
The Hospital CSSD is located within OR Suite. It has distinct dirty and clean zones. Equipment includes a Washer Disinfector, Ethylene Oxide (ETO) Sterilization, Two Pre-vacuum Steam Sterilizers (Autoclaves) and a Hot Air Oven. All items are packed and stored as per latest international guidelines.
INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (ICU)
The intensive care unit consists of individual ICU rooms with central air and gas supply, ventilators and monitoring equipment. There is one negative pressure room for highly infectious / contagious cases.
24-H PHARMACY
Horizon Hospital has a well stocked pharmacy which provides round the clock service to both inpatients and outpatients. The functioning of the pharmacy is monitored by qualified pharmacists 24/7.

The Radiology Centre at Horizon Hospital has been set up in collaboration with Aznostics to ensure high quality diagnositic and interventional radiology services. They include

Horizon Laboratory works 24/7. It has the facility to perform Hematological, Routine Chemistry, Special Chemistry and Microbiology Tests. The Laboratory also provide Histopathology Services.
BLOOD BANKING SERVICES
Blood bank operates 24/7. The Blood bank provides facility for cross-match on Elisa Technique and in addition to whole blood can provide packed RBCs, Plasma and other blood products.
