Alatas Middle East was opened in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2009. Alatas Middle East is managed by Harald Muehlhauser. Harald has over 20 years experience with ship, offshore and mobile cranes having worked with Liebherr as a crane service engineer for 4 years before becoming a technical advisor with Liebherr for an additional 2 years. Harald became Liebherr After Sales Manager, before being promoted to Global Product Director for Offshore Cranes.

Alatas Middle East will provide original spare parts and service staff for ship cranes, offshore cranes and harbour mobile cranes across the Middle East.
