Northwest General Hospital and Research Center is the proud gift of Alliance Healthcare (Private) Limited, sponsored by close to 3 dozen highly reputed and experienced cream of the medical profession to the residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Afghanistan. Alliance Healthcare is a private limited company duly incorporated with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under the Companies Ordinance 1984. It has an authorized capital of Rs. 350 million with a paid up portion of close to Rs. 300 million. Northwest General Hospital & Research Center is the first project of Alliance. Northwest General Hospital and Research Center is the proud gift of Alliance Healthcare (Private) Limited, sponsored by close to 3 dozen highly reputed and experienced cream of the medical profession to the residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Afghanistan. Alliance Healthcare was incorporated in 2005 and work was started in the same year on construction of its first project, the Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre. Soft opening of the hospital took place in January 2009 whereas in-patient admissions and Operation theaters were inaugurated in Mid-2009. Since then there has been no looking back. Revenues have been on a steep rise and equipments and services have been added and upgraded as a regular routine. The hospital has generated employment for 1,450 persons with about 30% female participation.
Main purpose behind the establishment of the Hospital is to make available a self-contained facility for patients that can cover the comprehensive needs of high quality healthcare under one roof. The sponsors have established a masterpiece of architecture to house state of the art equipment and diagnostic facilities that are second to none. Total land area is 65,000 sq. feet or 12 Kanals. Covered area of over 160,000 sq. feet with a basement and a minus one Oncology Bunker. The facility is located in the posh Hayatabad township of Peshawar. Experts in almost every conceivable field have dedicated their full time to provide top quality medical services to patients. The Hospital is committed to patient friendly and patient centered approach. A support staff of some 1,050 employees is busy round the clock to facilitate the functioning of the hospital with a dedication that is the distinction of NWGH. The Hospital has an in-house pharmacy to ensure uninterrupted supply of medicines and prescriptions of the highest quality.
Our services range from routine consultancy, a full range of laboratory functions, the most modern in MRI, CT scan and other radiological diagnostic services like Dexa Scan, Mammography & fluoroscopy etc. to the full spectrum of surgical procedures and the best of in-patient facilities at very reasonable rates.
