Description
The Murshid Hospital and Health Care Centre (MH&HCC) was established in 1987 as a not-for-profit project of M/S Darut Tasnif (Pvt) Limited, to serve the under privileged people and community of the area. The Hospital's facilities are in line with the medical standards offering various specialities. Though it has the potential of 220 beds, it is currently functioning with approximately 150 beds in different units. Services offered includes OPD, General and Private Wards, Intensive Care Units, Operating Theatres, Radiology, Ultrasound, Blood Bank and 24 hours open Laboratory, Pharmacy and Accident & Emergency wing with surgical facility. It is being run with the assistance of over 300 staff members including qualified and committed consultants, specialists, resident medical officers, nursing and paramedical staff, technician, corporate services support staff and management that is qualified and experienced.

Our Goals
Murshid Hospital and Health Care Centre's goal is to provide healthcare facilities and awareness in line with medical standards to the surrounding marginalized population.
Our Belief
We believe that health-care is a fundamental human right and should be available to anyone and everyone, either affordable or free of cost. Therefore none of the patient is turned away from our hospital or asked to pay for our services if they cannot. They are treated free with dignity through funds of Patient Welfare Association (PWA).
Our Objective
The objective of the organization is to address the healthcare needs of the surrounding under privileged localities and communities who do not have access to proper medical facilities. The organization through its efficient and affordable out-patient and in-patient program is trying to address the needs of these people from the suburban areas. The hospital has skilled staff and departments with necessary equipment to meet the treatment needs of these communities.
